Founded by musicians, ANIPO offers a free, global solidarity network dedicated to tracking stolen instruments and returning them to their rightful owners. Once an instrument is reported as stolen, it cannot be legitimately resold, as potential buyers can check its status through ANIPO.


ABG Assurances has joined forces with this innovative initiative to protect musical heritage through a global database and a committed community.

Register and track your instruments

ANIPO simplifies the protection of your instruments. Create a free account and register your instruments in just a few steps. It’s quick and easy. In the event of theft, report it directly on the platform.


ANIPO’s guarantees include the following:

  • no data is made public until the instrument is reported stolen;
  • a free tool designed by and for musicians;
  • an independent platform with no commercial use of your data;
  • a unique global database to combat instrument trafficking.

Registering your instruments with ANIPO makes them easier to identify in the event of theft. Be sure to add all relevant details, including measurements, photos, invoices, certificates of authenticity or valuation reports.


For added security, label your instrument case with your contact information. ABG Assurances provides this label free of charge when you register with ANIPO.


When travelling, keep your instrument within sight whenever possible and use a cable lock to secure your case during transit.
